I am considering Champion 332 for my 1970 Fury convertible. I believe I see some shroud mounting studs in the picture. Has anyone run this radiator part number and mounted the stock 26 inch shroud on it? Thanks, Ben

The talk on the street is that you will likely have to modify the brackets that attach the radiator to the radiator support and you need to know Tig to make your own correct shroud mounts.

if you have the original rad do a recore. even if its a couple hundred bucks more. mounting problem solved

Thanks, Stan. Do not want to make alterations. Champion 332 rejected.

Was going to do that. Turns out the brass radiator I had was aftermarket and for a Dodge truck. Not worth $400 to recore. Ben
May go with Spectra CU332 instead.

Different scenario altogether, but I went through this on my '76 so for that part I can confirm. For your car, I'm just repeating what I have read, mostly on Moparts.

I took a lot of flack for going aluminum but I'm glad I did.
It fitted the the radiator support perfectly and the shroud fit perfectly.
Paint it S/G Black and it won't stick out.

@Trace 300 Hurst says the Spectra 332 is bolt in and fits 1970 fan shroud. I'm probably going to buy that and be done with it. If you find an aluminum radiator that's bolt in and fits stock shroud I'm interested to know.
