Stormer's 73 Imperial Build

So I totally missed you getting that last car from Canada?? 4dr Burnished red (brugandy) car? Your going to change your build for the 2dr red car to this 4dr car?

If not how about this Imp down near Chris (AZBlackHemi) ....

No, sir, the burnished red car is a 2 door with black interior.

Now all I need is a parts car so that Phoenix car is a little expensive for that by the time I ship it.

Ross did I miss a post some where? How did the trip to pick up the Polara in Minnesota?

Well I got through that whole thread...god thing I had just got out of the shower...all that hot air blowing around that thread dried me off....:D

That car looks great...Congrats! The post was down by now, so only see the one pic. Can't wait to see some more pics of it.

Miserable.... 14 hours of freezing rain. 40 ounces of Red Bull & some seriously white knuckles got me home though.

Thank you, I can't wait to get my hands on her.

Never mind. I changed my mind.

Two posts for a changed mind huh? You must have heard your mother's voice in your head telling you to be nice.

I thought you probably drove through some nasty stuff. Glad you, your truck and car made it home in one piece.

Thanks dude. I was good & heavy so traction wasn't a big deal.

I always figure that if less than 10% of the cars are in the ditch then it's safe to proceed. It's amazing how many people have so little control of their vehicle.

When I drove through the blizzard from Wisconsin to Maryland the day after Christmas, we saw literally a thousand cars, truck, trailers, etc, crashed and or upside down on the side of the road. I drove at least 600 miles in 4 wheel drive.

I just quit going up there from the end of November till April. I grew up in Michigan but have been away so long I've forgotten everything I knew about driving in weather like that...... I miss it like a sore D**k too.

LOL! That's why I retired in Maryland after the Army. Winters are tolerable here. Normally when I go to Wisconsin for the last Packer game of the year at Lambeau the roads and weather aren't bad. If I would of left one day earlier I would of missed the whole mess. Years ago, I wouldn't go to Wisconsin from November to April. But.......since my Cousin offered me a Row 1 end zone club seat for the last 5 years....... I can't turn that down.

That's why the cars over there look cheesy as well I guess, lots of holes in them. :)

Well, I got myself a really nice parts car. Quite a road trip but I made it home.

Perfect fenders, perfect front & rear bumpers, perfect hood, etc, etc.......

Then I'm not interested....
I don't believe you.

Stan, tell the truth now, did you ever use stimulants when you drove truck?

I'm just coming down from a 3 day red bull fueled trip. Columbus to Hilton Head to Roanoke to Columbus.
