When I got home yesterday I walked to the back corner of my land where the cul-de-sac is going in. The pipe crew was finishing up & appeared to start moving their equipment down to another section of the development. They worked till 8 pm when some of the rain bands from the hurricane came through.

This morning I waked out to the same spot. It's pretty obvious now where the houses are going to be. Looks like 10 will be right up next to my land or just feet away. OH BOY ! Not liking this at all.

At least it appears there will be enough trees if not distance between your house and the new neighbours to maintain some privacy. You may want to put up a few no trespassing signs.

Perhaps locate the developers and offer your place at a inflated value. Then move back to the country. LOL.

With all these nice subs they are building around here I think we will have a Starbucks soon. We got a nice Japanese restaurant about a year ago that stays pretty busy. A whine store a few months ago. Before long I'll be selling BMW & Accura parts haha. Changes are comming to this little country community. I'm thinking about starting a curling club.

I wouldn't spend my money putting up a fence or any boarder shrubs if I was you. Let someone else pay for it. I'm willing to bet that part of the development plan includes a nice big fence to hide you behind. And should they decide to skimp on the barrier, just slide a few parts cars next to the line.
