DL27T0D228112 was unknown to @71Polara383 (who alerted me to the sale ad on OfferUp a couple of days ago) and to @polara71 -- so we can add her to the list of the Last Convertibles!

From the ad: "Rebuilt 440 engine, New original equipment Carter 4brl carb., new top. Body and paint exelent."

The car looks good, though photos of the rear quarters, trunk and underside would be needed. I have reached out to the seller, as I find the car appealing, but if someone else wants it then they should have zero compunction about beating me to it.

Unfortunately, yes. I like the clean fuselage bumper look without bumper guards, but clearly this one has M85.

On the plus side, it has a bunch of options: H51 A/C, C55 bucket seats, C21 buddy seat, L31 fender single repeaters, L35 cornering lights, P31 power windows, and S61 tilt-and-telescoping rim blow steering wheel, and B41 power front disc brakes. Not to mention: correct road wheels. In other words, a very nicely equipped Polara 'vert with a 440.

Cool car! 440 car with some great options and a Super-lite to top it off. Good deal if its a solid car.

I must be a little off. For some reason red vehicles just don’t grab my attention. I am not sure why. If it was local to me I would probably take a look.
This one definitely deserves a second look, but not for me.

Nicely optioned convertible, even has the autopilot. If its been in the south all these years, somebody may get lucky a decent car, and maybe limited rust issues. Even the interior looks nice.
I sent a text to Wyatt and Dave on Monday when I saw the Polara on Offerup.
Dave mentioned Wyatt had already turned him onto the car.

I’m actually adding this feature to my Chrysler. Much better understated before they exploded in size in ‘73.

This one would make a nice compliment to Poppy, but first you have to get rid of that blue TNT. :poke:

Please identify what shade of red is on your avatar pic? Must be the heat!

There is red red and then there is burgundy metallic. (And other variations of red)I am a fan of the burgundy as I have also had two pickup’s over the years with that color.
But bright plain re-sale red just doesn’t do it for me. I color out-side of the lines most of the time so I prefer the variations versus the basic colors on a color chart.
I am having trouble picking out what color my next pickup will be as my wife says three burgundy trucks in a row is too much.

I actually wanted to give you 2 thumbs up for that one! I'm a burgandy guy also, adding metalic must be nice in person to see.

Have a nice day.

I would piss myself if I ever found a convertible in this color combination.
