Just to set the record straight - it's spelled AZTEK
So you're saying GM was visionary?
My first thought was the Buckaroo Banzai Ford jet truck.WOW, is that thing ugly. It looks like it was designed for a tight budget science fiction movie.
I like the Trudeau sticker.
A Pontiac Aztec is downright stylish compared to this. A Honda Ridgeline is an exceptionaly HD pickup in comparison! Of course, we now have a wonderful national infrastructure of clean and plentiful charging stations nationwide where...say what? We...don't...have those yet? Ah, ****, wake me up when we get that in place, so these electric trucklets can be practical!
The electric vehicles ARE coal powered unless your power company uses nuke or natural gas to generate power.Heard that Washington DC is working a coal powered vehicles to make good on promises.

Will make for a great road trip in a Chevy Volt, lets see, 8 hours of charging to get 60 miles before a recharge is needed. That works out to something like 320 hours plus drive time to travel the 2400 miles. Horse might be faster but feel good Earth Firsters would complain about all that organic discharge. I guess they could collect it to feed their pot plants. Our idiot governor in Oregon signed off on a charging station every 40 miles on the interstate so it would be possible to drive an electric car all the way from the Washington border to the People's Republic of California.

Ah yes the time it takes to charge, lies, lies, lies, as we all know from past experience with rechargeable's.
I heard a guy call into a local radio show yesterday who was bragging about his new Tesla. I learned two things from that guy. 1) he doesn't understand or know simple math. 2) a 60-70 mile drive takes 3 hours to recharge. And that's a new car only a few months old.
I read somewhere the superchargers charge the owner of the car through an account.Tesla Superchargers (FREE?)
I suspect where you live makes a big difference, too. I live in a mountainous area.
I'd hate to have to take two days to get to the Volo show from where I live, because it's just past the range of an EV. Glad it's not a possibility or a problem, and probably never will be for me. But I agree, city environment is best for them, and where I've seen the majority of them.To me electric cars are for commuter traffic in a city environment. This "truck" is for Ridgeline owners not real truck owners, which actually utilizes their truck to haul and tow.

I just used that as an example, for what's becoming a familiar, frequent journey. I couldn't even go hunting up north. If you were forced for some reason to drive an electric car that two days to get there, there probably would not be a Volo show because the wacko's would have banned all those nasty old polluting cars and ordered them destroyed.
