Spent the last couple nights sanding down the front end, and masking. No point to me to strip the front end, as I had just done all of it before taking her off the road...

Good thing this is supposed to be the **** box dodge!! I am not, repeat, NOT a painter. lol Pretty crappy paint job... a few runs here and there. A bunch of trash got in the paint. Oh well. It's black again! Woo!

I'm hoping the paint will settle like the white did, after a couple days of drying/breathing.

One of the neighbors came over interested. Said he thought I was doing a good job for being outside. He offered to help wet sand, and buff to make her look real good. I thanked him, but he couldn't grasp how I was telling him it's supposed to look like crap, and I'm gonna sand it down here and there anyway. lol he was an older gentlemen. Never seen the blues brothers. Had quite the puzzles look on his face.

I'll start bolting stuff back on next weekend hopefully.

There's one Mopar guy around the corner. But he's into the newer gen challengers, and chargers. Thinks his **** don't stink kind of attitude about him.

Air chisel rivet removal X 5000... Folks hate bus projects more. The "summer of grinding" didn't win me much love either I'm sure. At least I was on commercial property and kept to daylight hours when I did all that.

Rear end going back together. Replaced a few bulbs. Brake, and tail lights operational again. Also got all the window, and roof trim installed.

I'm on the look out for the DODGE lettering that goes on the fuel door, if anybody might have a spare set. Really only need the O. Also need some of the little plastic clips that hold the letters onto the door.

Interior making it's way back in. Layed down the new sound deadener. New carpet on top. Also installed a new set of 6x9's in the rear shelf, along with the new package tray I bought years ago. It looks nice!! Deff cheaper made then original. But damn does it look better!

My nos E for the fuel door came in. Still has the original packaging with it. It's been sitting on the shelf of the PA dealer since 1981!

Didn't manage to get any good pics before getting her back in the garage. Its dark out anyway..

Hey that's great news Zac glad at least the American Dealers can still find these parts. The guy in Quebec couldn't find his *** with both hands unfortunately.

Thank you sir!! I'm happier then hell! Really got the itch to get her done now!

I got the new radio installed, and rest of the dash put back in. Also changed the oil from the break in finally. Gotta find a couple nuts in the garage for one of the heat shields, to get it reinstalled.

I took her on her first trip to the gas station tonight! Hell yes! New sending unit is working great!

Do have a couple bugs to sort still. She stalled at almost every stop. Not sure if she just wasn't liking having every single light, and acc on at the moment, or she needs a little fine tuning. She didn't do it before.

Also shot a short little vid.

That gas station must be close to your house. I would think the local PD would hassle you without doors on the car.
