Very nice details! Do they still sell Chesters as pictured above? They had 'em like 20 years ago, I remember trying a pack. I think they were even filterless, can't really remember other than they were very harsh.
I actually used to smoke those when I was a wee smoker. I bought em cuz Jack Webb smoked em. Smoke from those things could peel paint off a battleship.Think you can still buy old packs online, when I looked a few years back. Don't think you'd want to smoke em though lol Believe you could get em by the carton too.
One door is finished in on. That's all we need right! lol
Got her stripped down, a little body work, and painted. Also got the nos mirror, and new door handle on. Quite a difference!
Just got my new order of front door weatherstripping. FYI formal owners, these fit all of em. Can get em through steel rubber. They offer the rear doors too, but I'm undecided on them for me yet. My rears aren't bad, just need a good cleaning.
Also ordered a new "O" for the fuel door. Found on at Arizona parts. He says it's shipping out Friday. Woo!
Some more black paint showed up for the rear doors as well.
Power steering pump number 2 is on. MUCH better! I was a little concerned at first. This pump made a little noise while turning the wheels. But seems to be going away... I shot a little vid showing it. Please excuse the engine bay. It needs a good detailing lol
The first pump from Rock auto was terrible! Anything over 1200 rpm, the front of the engine sounded like it was going to explode.

WOW ..... Looking good Zac. Judging from the chrome valve covers and exhaust tips, I'd say you've been in the South to long.
To bleed the air out of the P/S, try jacking the front wheels off the ground and turning lock to lock slowly 10 times engine off and then 10 times engine running. If that doesn't do it cobble together something to let you put vacuum on the reservoir while turning.

I bet you can figure something out without buying a tool. Wheels off the ground is the big secret to this.
Not an old F@#d... she should bleed out fine. Those methods were a must on the 4 letter F word.Thank you Jeff!! I did try bleeding it. I'll have to give lifting it a try. Hopefully that'll take care of it. It did seem to be going away though, when backing into the garage. Fingers crossed!
Someday there will be a picture or it with ALL the doors I can feel it.
Her new exhaust is on. My family came down from MI for the week. Been showing them around. Kinda takes away from the car lol. But did drop her off at the exhaust shop this morning.
She's a lot more quiet! Can't mistake it though. She sounds like an old mopar!!
Being able to hear everything now, seems my power steering pump is making some noise. Ugh. Might have got a bad pump. On to all the little gremlins to sort out.
Wasn't able to get an after picture underneath. But looks good from what I can see.
