The culprate

Bet that most folkz don't know why they built conestoga wagonz with that big boxed in pocket in front the driverz chair either. Weren't just tah rest there feet on yeah know. Their ladyz could hide in there and privately treat their man to ah little rollin' delite. lol

WOW .......!!!!!! And YOU were there Jer......???????

I chased the same issues around last year until my 91 grandfather told me what was my fuel problems. Mine looks the same and only had 53K on it....

In the research that I've been doing through this its been said to try and find a good original rather than new. Thankfully I had an extra here out of another late '60s block that was only 1/32" shorter than spec.

Wellll Will yeah! Few yearz before Teddy and I charged up San Jaun Hill I made ah trip to the left coast in one ah them dam PITA wagonz jes tah say I been there. If it hadn't ah been for my lady passenger at the time knowin' the Linda Lovelace trick and makin' the trip more interesting I'd ah probably walked the whole way

Yeah, Got me a little worried now, 115K on Jazebelle .......... I think i'll go get one.

Mustache ride or what ?

I'm totally confused after four weeks without a Computer. ;)

Ran great, not even a hic-up on what turned out to be an hour long drive home tonight.

Why is that?
Because they just don't make things like they used to. Seriously though, the vintage ones are better quality as long as you're using good quality oil such as Brad Penn or the like. It all goes out the window if you're using the oil produced for modern cars.

I saw where someone recommended the fuel pump push rod from Mopar Performance as being pretty good quality. Is that not true ?

If I didn't have an extra vintage one laying around I probably would have gone with one but I like knowing that the steel content in my car has never made any trips accross the pond.

Just the camshaft end and kinda shiny but not mirror like and a definite dish.
