"The Driver"

My days there are usually the same, wake, shower, breakfast, show, dinner, pool, shower, parking lot chat, bed

yeah, how about that? I hope Sandy didn't flood her out.

We can get Dave to look for it but you'll have to convince him there is a Polara rag sitting next to it.

many periods of warming in the earth's history have been followed by periods of excessive cold, almost always immediately. this is the coldest winter I ever remember here, not the coldest temp but overall the coldest due to the time it is hanging on. When it get above 30 and stays there we will be out in shorts!

Granted, last two years was a little warm BUT go back to when we were younger, A LOT younger .. I can remember sledding on the hills in the 70's and 80's. IT WAS cold!! And that is when I was a kid and you didnt feel the cold. Coming home, peeling off the layers and not being able to feel my feet, running them under cold water in the tub and it felt like they were on fire. Ahhh the cold winters we had.......

Don't forget that Mark was a meteorologist in the Army and I believe that's what he does for a living now I think.

Right Mark?

Yeah it was 2 years ago 100 that was hot. Dave, hope your wrong, Mark hope your right. They have been saying that hasn't been this cold around here since 1994 can't remember how hot or cool the summer of 94 was. For some reason I remember 1977 as a coooold winter.

We have a Drive In 30 miles south, in Vineland NJ...... (you know, the city they mention in Eddie and the Cruisers.....) Once a year they have a car show and show a classic movie. American Graffiti, , Bullitt, Its a Mad Mad mad mad world, Smokey and the Bandit, cant recall the others they had.

The Cumberland County Drive In in Pennsylvania, out near Marks house had shown Christine one year in conjunction with the salute to Christine at the All Chrysler Nationals....

We have a local Drive in with 2 screens and I wish they would do that. I haven't been to the drive in for about 3-4 years but would go if they put up AG and Smokey as a double feature on one of the screens or maybe Vanishing Point and AG or AG1 and AG2.

I am aware of Marks history Bob but that doesnt mean he can nail down a specific weekend six months away, hell even the tv people cant nail down tomorrow.
I think hes doing something else now but he is interesting to hear tell of the weather coming through the mountains.

BBD, i was thinking the same thing, 77/78 we had two big storms come through within a week of each other. The ice was on the roads for over a month.....it was cold
