The kah-kah'z gettin' too deep around here

You folks are all over this thread. i mean in a good way.

its impressive and refreshing when people know what they are talking about and use facts to make arguments.

opinions are cool and we are all entitled to express them...but as the rest of that overused but accurate political cliche goes, "we aint entitled to our own facts". the truth is a powerful thing.

good stuff.

All the major car companies would love to see Tesla go to the wall by the way things are transpiring. Here's the thing, if the car really doesn't measure up against mainstream vehicles and not likely anytime in the future, why the big hullabaloo to keep them out of the market? Obviously Tesla vehicles have a real potential to change things in the future.

I would say the automotive parts manufacturers and all the way down to retailers also have a dog in this fight, because a electric car has way less parts that wearout or break. Think of it the way diesel electrics replaced steam way less parts easier component swaps. I think they are a good idea just because of the maintenance and parts no more timing belts fuel pumps, water pumps, air filters, oil filters

Halliburton isn't in the white house anymore? People figured out they're being suckered by the media hype and wait for the prices to settle before buying now? The price is artificially inflated to the point where it negatively affects purchases of other goods and services and there's no room to continue to go up?

Back when "Haliburton" was in the "White house" gas was $1.95 a gallon...And ALL the libs were just a bitchin about how "Big Oil is running the country" now it's $3.50... And they don't even say a word... makes "Haliburton" days look pretty Damn good compared to what we have now!

I don't know about that there were a couple of times while Haliburton was in the white house that the fuel pumps shut off because they did not go over $999.99 so 3/4 of a tank was what I went with because restarting the pump to fill it just seemed wrong. Go ahead and say that's not your problem, everything you use has been on at least 5-6 trucks before the consumer looks at it.

Gas is now $2.59 for reg

$3.39US here.

Cannot wait to move outta this place. Insane people elect insane people that raise taxes to insane levels. I give. Can't do it, won't do it, my wife and kid deserve better.

I'm good with it. couple thousand sqft house, pool, multicar garage, for less than what I pay here and I'll still be making MD/DC money. 1/5 the property taxes, no income taxes, sale taxes are less than here. I fail to see the negative other than hurricane insurance and the heat.

We just ousted the numnuts governor that raised our gas and diesel taxes to the highest in the country and gave the money to public transportation, because they will spend it wisely

Meh. 26 years in Denver. In a town of 600K they made up 35% of the citizenry. I can take the illegals. No it's going to be the coming to grips with poisonous/dangerous critters and the heat.
