The timing chain has nothing to do with your oil pressure, I guess it had to have been your switch if it still did it after you cleaned the screen.

The van is back in the shop for left rear slider actuator and right slider power stop and harness. So the Monaco has been press ganged in to semi daily duty in the event I need it since the wife has the truck.

No no they work, I just don't normally roll them up. Lest it rains or something, else they're always down. Even when I go to home depot or some other establishment.

Did my part to piss off the purists.. Added DRL's as I've almost been hit making left turns here twice. I guess the snowbirds have forgotten what old cars look like.
After adding two DRL's for each side the turn signal bulb wasn't bright enough for my liking. So I took it out, added a 25mm eagle eye LED group that had 3 white LEDs and 3 amber. Made up simple circuit consisting of 2 relays per side. One to cycle the turn signals and one to turn off the DRL's if they're on when the turn signal fires.
I don't particularly care for the bright white color but I have yet to find a LED bulb that can match the spectrum of the halogens in a size and form factor I can use.
I have to finish the passenger side later today. And I'll probably be redoing the wiring to make it all consistent and even. But for now I'm happy with what's happening here without having to add external lights.

Oh yeah.. Van is going back to the shop on Saturday as the actuator broke again. The door will manually open at least this time. However it has to be forced closed. I mean forced.

White/Amber lights i used in the center. Honestly i could have just used these. Without the ones on the side and been fine but since i started this mess with the side ones i merely added to it.

Used a total of 1 three pin, 6 two pin, and 1 single pin weather pack connectors to put it all together. Had wire and relays already.
Other than that it was merely time spent figuring out the circuit to make the relays fire the way i wanted.
Pretty cheap overall.

About to do the upper balljoints and bushings. Yay me.
Anyway looks like the pads are bedded nicely now with about 500 miles on them Though I think they may be a bit aggressive for the rotor.
Last month it hit the century mark twice, 100 miles in two days and a 100Mph run. Which brought to light a new issue but more on that later as I'm confused as what to make of it yet.
