Now you're making me regret not getting a picture of the 89 Chevy hauling 1500lbs of engines in the trailer last week.

Only 1500 lbs, That's barely a work out,

Hell I'm all anxious to tow now that I fresh Built HD trans and an Auxiliary Cooler for it.

Some pictures of it working, Trailer ways 1000 lbs empty for the record, I took it to the scales for something to do one afternoon.

Wish I had photo's of it towing my Trailer to where it rests currently, 5,500 LBS Empty which it wasn't, I felt it, mostly on hills. No photo's of me hauling engines and transmissions in it, or the many trips to Home Building centers (My Record so far, 10 sheets of 1/4" 4' x 8' plywood, 24 2" X4"s 8 footers, 6 4" x 4" 8 footers, 6 bags of Quickset Cement, and a few other mix lengths and width boards.

Van

Correct, no workout for the 350 equipped van, me and Dad loading the engines into the trailer sans cherry picker was the workout. The pinto engine was easy. The headless big block wasn't too bad. The big block WITH heads was heavy. The one with its C6 still attached was plain awful. Our trailer is rated at 1,000lbs capacity and after this trip I am doubtful the axle will ever be the same. Two 390s, a pinto engine and a 289w/trans. You do the math.

The best we ever did was 2,500lbs of Boy Scout popcorn inside a 74 Sportsman van with another 1,000 or so in the trailer behind. The 318 did not complain, but the suspension was not happy.

Bahh you ever load two '69 Fury's entirely dressed one at a time at 11 PM on a wet trailer with no winch, now thats a work out.

A workout is a 57 Dodge 4 door sedan rocker panel deep in the dirt with all 4 tires flat and the brake shoes bonded to the drums and only accessable from the side....... using a come-a-long in 95 degree sun.

WE BAD.....!
