Amazing find. It will take a fortune to restore that collection. I wonder if some are just too far gone. Thanks for posting.

Fred, the restoration world for international pre-war rare margues is not a world we can fathom. These cars are bought and restored by the richest people in the world and you've never heard their names before. They have one last item on their bucket list and that is to take home Best of Show at Pebble Beach and they will spend a couple of million if necessary. Although, it is officially not allowed, historically the judges have favored the cars that basically started out as a frame.

I can't imagine what it's like to be that rich. Grass is always greener...still pretty happy with my 2 old drivers.

I've said it before, I'd love to be the one to stumble upon something like this. Imagine how your heart would race!

The cleaner will Show up in one. ;)

Sometimes you don't know it. I passed on a 250GTE project from the same guy that I bought my Pantera from. Hindsight that was a bad call. At the time the engine was out, and he had put flares and other body modifications on it. Restoring a Ferrari is a terribly expensive proposition. I could have just bought the car, done nothing, and made a small fortune for storing it. He also had a Abarth Double Bubble coupe that I had no idea of.

This is a fantastic .... incredible stash of extremely rare and high end cars.
Your right.... Most will end up in the hands of owners with very deep pockets and will infuse some new excitement in the Concours d'Elegance circuit in the coming years.

Thanks for posting...... What a trip.

Just read that the Ferrari is estimated to fetch around $14 million as is and all the cars at least $20 million for the two grandsons.
