So the wife sees the vette and tells me again its her dream car...keep dreaming. the Fageol moving van would have wound up in my back yard 10 years ago when I was looking to build an infield camper... mines bigger anyhow. the brown Road Runner could have come home with me... but I had adult supervision. All in all we had a good time, but I was disappointed there weren't more Mopars

Have the wife look at a Hellcat.......LOL!

Great pics! Thanks for sharing! Were you able to look around in the swap meet area? Anything good?

Wish I coule have made it. With the holidays, and birthdays coming up, kinda short on cash..

We got there about 1pm and didn't get to the swap meet until they were starting to wrap up. about 25% hadn't started packing... there was a sprinkling of Mopar... but I didn't have anything I was really looking for except I will always watch for air cleaners and I kept half an eye open for Stan's spring shackles... nothing exciting on either count. Did see an old double bubble light bar and thought of you. I only saw one Cordoba, and it wasn't too bad, but wanted $7k...we got pics lots of other brands too, but I didn't even remember to take any for the first hour or so. it got easier after I turned over the camera, she took what she liked and what I pointed out.

If a Hellcat shows up...its mine. She is a good sport, when we got home... she looked through the pics of what I've been interested in... she likes the green imperial in OH. I guess I will have to call today.

We also continued her automotive education... Thanks to some G.M.s and a Packard-Baker... and some old internet pics...she now fully understands what a "Dagmar" is. While standing next to a Cobra kit car, she asked "is this real or a kit?" Which a kind spectator solved by pointing out there were "no guards or velvet rope... so kit". She even did a double take as I bit my tongue when some teenager pointed to a mustang with a snake and ask his companion "is that a Viper or a Cobra?" Damn Polk county... We saw Ted Vernon walk by and she gave a classic "I thought he would be taller". Wrapping it all up, she was very impressed to get to see a real Edsel and she loved a little red Bugatti replica, which I told her was a "very nice VW kit"... it was a high end kit and nicely done, the suspension was it's biggest giveaway.

Me too... the crew was a Cummins swap. The 880 is a car I could love... but I'm kind of a *****... I want to love them all.

kept half an eye open for Stan's spring shackles..

Thank you, sir.
Still looking, too.
One guy who claims to have them is breaking my balls with a total lack of communication...

Sorry to hear that. I was kinda also going from the perspective that one day I too might be on the hunt. Its interesting the things you thought were worth saving are usually not the ones you need...
