Great little engine!

OK. I have mine. They cost me $60 to have a kid print 12 or so of these. These are not perfect but for the price, I'll live with them for now. It was a fun little project to figure these out.

Yup. PM me your email and I'll send it along. There's a couple of revisions and feel free to change however you like as it's not perfect but a good starting point. And, of course - your mileage may vary ;)

I think it's awesome that you took the time to figure this out and accomplish it. Even cooler that your offering to pass this on freely. I could really use the $60 saved on other car projects right now.

I actually just looked at them last night and for how old they are (five years now?) - pretty good. Six are fine and two I need to replace.

When I did do them I was a bit of a noob to 3D printing. I’ve got my own 3d printer and resin printer since then (I designed them and had some guy print them back then). I’d like to do a redesign so they latch like the originals did.

Ah - looked for a minute like the post was from 2024 but misread it. PLA… I suspect. But I didn’t print the ones I’m using so not entirely sure.

I would think that PLA might not work very well under the hood.

I downloaded the STL. Thank You! I see it's not split though. Somewhere, I think I saw a STL of this that was split like the original, but I can't find it now.
