I understand it is one of only two left...
if I was told I could go in that museum and leave behind the wheel of just one of the cars, it might be that one.

None of those cars are going overseas. Ever! From the inside info......none of the cars are going anywhere. For now they may move them around in the building to expand corporate office space. The cars will still be seen by people attending corporate and charity events. Matt asked if the museum would be open during special Detroit events like the Dream Cruise and other events. No decision has been made at this time. Another question was the possibility of building a new museum on the the massive Chrysler grounds. TBD...... anything could be possible.

I was reassured on the last visit that the collection was not going to be broken up any further and that all the cars are going to stay in the building. The building itself was purpose built to be a museum, and a fine one at that so there's not really even a heck of a lot that can be done to modify it to be anything else. It does have in it some offices, a conference room and a small theatre which will all be used by corporate while the cars will stay for special events. I'm not sure that we've seen the last of the museum...
