What cc's are the Eddy's and are the Trick Flows smaller any higher on compression and E85 is not going to take that, well maybe.

Yes. It is.
The Eddy's flow about 290 CFM. The Trick Flow heads run 340 out of the box. For this particular engine, it should make a drastic difference. Please, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. The Edelbrocks will be going on one of my 383's.
Before you start would be a good time to run the car on a dyno to get a set of base readings.Yes. It is.

Thanks for the info! I only plan to put the Trick Flow heads on because I already have them. I will definitely try to get the car dynoed or timed before I make the swap. I suppose I could just put the Trick Flows on my 383, but I think that it would be rather pointless (in comparison to putting them on a 440).I've not seen any info that says a Trick Flow 240 standard port head will come close to that number especially OOTB.
Flow numbers from Dwayne Porter's bench.

IMHO unless you plan to go big roller on your cam your money might be better spent to have your RPM's ported unless you were planning to upgrade your 383 and need to buy heads anyway.
In any case with your .550 minus lash cam I don't think you will see "drastic" in the change department altho there should be some improvement for sure.
The 270 cc Max Wedge is advertised at 350 cfm at .700 but is not available yet.
Just to be clear I think the Trick Flow is an excellent head, just not $2000 better than what you already have.
Here's 9 pages on Moparts discussing it. Lots of good info especially from fast68plymouth and AndyF.

You should definatly get a dyno session or 1/2 dozen passes at the drag strip (keep a note book) of visual weather and barometer, humidity, temp, and 1/4 mile times and more important mph. Then do it again with trick flows. Stick to your plan since you have them, if the results are not what you want you can always have them ported and change the cam. Thanks for the info! Wow first Kraut sell his vert and now this...I remember them as good members from the drydock before I left it due to the clowns. The original cast is getting old...
Went to get sushi tonight. This was my first time getting to really drive it. Good god it's fast.
Too bad the "3 gears" emoticon is gone.

Not sure yet. At the very least it will be running and driving before it is gone. I assume you mean the Sport Fury?did I miss it ? Whats the plans now, are you keeping the other one?

Correct. Sort of. My plan was to drop a 522 stroker in the Blue Moose, but this is better.Yes... Certainly not the Challenger . You bought this one because it is what you wanted from the other without all the work and expense...? correct
