I have found a bunch of websites but it seems they offer a lot for everything but c bodies. Currently looking for a gas tank for my 64 newport. I also have not found many newport threads for 1964 on the forum. It seems we are the ugly duckling...ha

Thanks detmatt, I actually found the place a couple of weeks ago but didnt think to call them. I am unsure about buying a used tank thats been sitting for years just like mine was.
Anyway, I am making a run during my lunch break. but looking online it seems there is no reproduction tanks for my year newport. The closest I found is http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=261953&cc=1330007
which is a smaller tank (15 gallons) and the holes are slightly off. I think I can make it work however.
It might not be the case for you but I found out that I could buy a new tank for my '66 300 that would fit but not have the same venting. If I would have known this at the time I would have replaced it instead reconditioning my old one.

thats where im at now...the tank from a 64 dodge will fit dimension wise. The inlet from the trunk looks like it matches up. only difference is the front where the sending unit is. On my its dead center and on the one I found, its slightly to the left.
