On this engine an enginecode with number G440 819 is punched. Valve cover says “ performance mopar”
Can somebody enlighten me? What kind of engine is this?

Only factory valve covers were stamped steel, painted engine color or chromed (in some years, with a chromed air cleaner many times).

The valve covers are probably from 'Mopar Performance' and that's what it says on them.

They would have been added after 1987. In 1987, Mopar's Direct Connection parts program changed to Mopar Performance.

Factory assembled on August 19th..... so like about the last motor assembled for the 1971 model year??

As the '71 model year production wrapped up about the middle of July 1971, it's more likely the assembly was in August of 1970 at the beginning of the 1971 model year.
