Who Reproduces Broadcast sheets?

I can't remember where I found this. It may or may not be useful. It is a word doc, but I had to zip it up to attach it.

Unfortunately, the colorful version is the wrong one for Gary. It's a later version.

Have you copy and paste the digits or do you have the correct font? I'm searching for the right font since I made the build sheet.
I did this in a CAD program and the code font is close, the tails on the 3, 5,6 & 9 should point down and not hook. I did this over 15 years ago and don't recall the details.

Too bad! But thanks anyway!

(again)

Now, if someone has a nice scan of 65 Dodge window sticker???

I've got a mess of fonts, but I don't have one that is close to being right. Some of the numbers will look right, but others are not close. I didn't see one with a slashed 0.

Because of this though I noticed that my car was order, not purchased of of the lot. Kind of neat.

Way cool that doc file, it looks close, I will scan and post an image of my intact GT sheet tomorrow for comparison. Thanks Jeff and Julian!

I personally don't believe broadcast sheets should be reproduced. to have the original is the holy grail. kind of like forging a title or a fender tag. it kind of makes the original seem somewhat useless. jmo

Alan,
Your 69 sheet looks a lot like my 68 sheet. But I don't have the Chrysler Corp stuff on the left side. It looks like maybe it was torn off on a perforation.
The one I posted is a 67, there are no additional perforations, the only perforations were top and bottom.

Unless you go through a lengthy process to age these, nobody is going to think these are originals. They make fun display pieces and safe references to handle.

When i was a kid i remember watching dad fill out his company car order forms. Sometime in August he'd come home with binders full of paint chips, interior samples and all the option codes. The order form was very similar to a build sheet. A bunch of blank squares he'd have to fill in. Everything from axle ratio to power vents. :thankyou:
I helped him fill out a form for a 73 Dart, 6, auto and am radio. What he actually came home with later was a sweet Charger SE. He was sly that way. Keep expectations low then Bam!

Ok, Gary (@Wollfen ). Please check if there are any mistakes or differences compared to your Broadcast sheet. If so, please let me know.

As soon as everything is correct, I will add your data codes.

I've got a really nice copy of a 1970 Broadcast sheet as a template. And because this template was in color, I added the colored stripes in a second version.

Have you located the correct font?

Not the exact one. I think it does not exist. But I have a few that are very close.

I think the font you guys are looking for came from an old sixties era IBM 407 Accounting Machine. I started my IT career standing in front of one of those. . .
