IMHO, I'd go with the 22" rad that's ready to go. Unless you are out in the desert and having over heating issues, the 22" will work just fine. Bolt it in and be done.
If you go with the 26" rad, you'll have to cut and drill the rad support. If you are worried about trans lines, then doing the rest of the work correctly is going to be a lot harder to do... and once you do it, it's hard to go back. Then you have to screw around with getting the right hoses and possibly changing the water pump housing to orient the hoses to the correct side. It can escalate into a bunch of work that will have negligible results.
