O.K. Fellas this is just a General Whinge, so if you've already heard Too Many Please Move on to the Next Post.
Two 4 oz Bottles of Tail Light Polish US$10.00
UPS from the States to the Mystical Land of OZ US$128.00!
Are You Fellas Familiar with the Term "Flabbergasted"
My only conclusion is that some People aren't interested in O/S Sales.
Maybe Not the Sellers Fault BUT if it were Me that was the Seller I would be Finding Some Way of Getting the Cost Down to Something Reasonable.
Otherwise I'm wasting my time Advertising Over Seas.
Just My Opinion. (And Admittedly I am a Miserable Tightwad. LOL)
I just Figure that Every $ you save is a $ that can be Spent Elsewhere on the Project.
And I Don't have all that Many $s to Spend in the First Place.

It may be because it is a liquid and can't be shipped by plane. If you can find out if it can be shipped by plane with USPS Priority Mail and if your customs will let it in to the country, I would be willing to have you ship it to me to then ship to you.

Instead of lens polish use a good quality paint rubbing compound on your lens. Use a power ball on your drill or a random orbital polisher with a foam pad for the best time effective results. You can rub by hand but it will take forever and a day to do it. You should be able to buy everything at a reasonable price close to home. As an added bonus you can polish your car while you’re at it

Hey You Guys,
I have a 69 Phoenix / Plymouth Fury.
Polishing Up the T/L Lenses is No Small Job. LOL (They have the Fury 3 T/Lights)
Actually I'm looking at using NOVUS # 2 by Hand, Not Worried by the Time frame Just as Long as it does a Good Job.
And Yes I Purchased a "Trial" 4oz Container for A$20.00 from the Next State (QLD).
I was just Stunned by the Freight Costs from the US.
I would be Buying a LOT more Stuff out of the States if it weren't for the Freight Costs.
Thanks to All for Your Replies, Every Little Bit of Info Helps.
Kind Regards Tony.M

After you get them all polished, then you might consider using some of the hybrid-ceramic "wax" to keep them that way? Or, as some of the headlight videos have illustrated, scuffing them with 600 grit Scotchbrite and then using a UV-resistant clear Krylon spray paint on them?

Enjoy!

Well it could have something to do with customs as I saw on a UK customs show about smuggling drugs is that people were ordering these synthetic drugs from China in liquid form under the guise of 5oz bottles of 'Wheel Polish' and they caught it so.... Anything liquid coming from overseas could be suspect and a additional charge?

I used Novus 1,2,3. Works great for tail lights and IP panel acrylic. A little bit goes a long ways.
Island living is always a little more expensive.:)
But yes that freight is ridiculous.

Brighto, Brighto
Will make old bodies new
We'll sell a million bottles
Woo Woo woo woo woo woo

Saw that a while back on tv. Always makes me smile at what they could do back then! Thanks for the post.

in the old days those british guys polished their plexiglass screens with-------banana oil-------i imagine you can buy it anywhere....

When my cousins come over from New Zealand they bring extra suitcases and stock up on everything and anything. It’s actually kinda funny to see what is precious and rare over there. The best one is Rebecca’s spray tan crap. I guess it’s like liquid gold on that island. They say everything from CD’s to Chicken in a biscuit crackers are treasures over there. Always makes me glad I live in the good ol US of A !

Even from an Early Age I considered the Stooges to be Silly.
Problem was, Once I started Watching I was Done For!
Curly was My Favourite, But they only had to do a Cameo such as in "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" and I would find myself Smiling & Filled with Memories.
Laurel & Hardy "Liberty", Charlie Chaplin "The Kid", Buster Keaton "The Scarecrow" The List Goes On.
Bless Them & All those who have bought us Laughter over the Years, It would be a Desperately Sad World Without Them.
Regards, Tony.M
