IIRC, '73 was when they went to a "shunted" ammeter where not all the current passes through it. Moot point if you do the "Mad" or "Nacho" bypass... In fact, it would probably work well with those mods.
I see it has zero miles on it too.I think the 70 speedo was a single year product. I put an European speedo for a '71 in my '70 and virtually nobody notices the alt-temp swap. There are a bunch of extra idiot lights but i don't use any of them.

So the storm passed and I pulled my 73 cluster out and put it next to my partially disassembled 70 cluster, apart from the gear selector display, there is a difference, can you pick it?
I'm working on a 73 140 i just need to by the sticker they make for it.
