Thanks and I wondered about that because on the Michigan sec of state site it has a list of things you can't use on a plate and thought they might red tag it.At least you could get that, I tried in AZ and our motor vehicle declined my custom plate request for one that basically said the same thing and not because it was already taken! lol congrats on everything youve done to the car!
SCORE !So I have been looking for some parts for my fury and was talking with member 70 sport suburban @70 Sport Suburban and during our discussion he ask me if I was sure my car was not a S23 car. I told him I didn’t believe it was but he convinced me to look closer. I now believe that the car is in fact a S23 car. You see when I got the car back in 2016 the fender tag was missing, the car was last registered in Michigan in 1994 (found the old registration in the glove box) and I could tell the car had been repaired and repainted (poorly) probably somewhere in the 80’s I always thought the stripe on the side was left over glue from an aftermarket molding, I just never looked that close. Well today I looked at the hood really close and you can see the remains of the old decals underneath the paint. Then tonight after it got dark I took a picture of the side stripe and it reflects. See the pictures below. So I’m going to try to see if I can track down the fender tag. The history I have so far about the car is it was last registered in 94 in Michigan, somehow it ended up in Nebraska where it was bought by a friend of 70 Sport Suburban in 2002 and brought up to the Chicago area (it was missing the fender tag then), where it was sold to the guy I bought it from in 2016. In case you are one of the guys always studying fender tags please be on the lookout for PH23L0F145433. I guess it goes without saying I’m very happy about this new discovery.

If that wasn't ever used by Cheby I would probably put that at the front of the strobe. I do kind of regret some of the choices I made with the car now I know it is a S23. I could always change it back but will probably keep the V10, it cruises so nice.Nice! So it's an S-10?
Yeah, funny thing is when I had it out last year in the sun and buffing the paint to try to make it look nicer I didn't notice them. Inside the garage they jump out.Ghost graphics, very nice. That is an interesting development. One of my cars is missing it's fender tag, I don't worry about it, but it would be nice to be in its proper place.
How about S23 2.0? No, sounds like a computer program. S8.0L? Doesn't really roll off the tongue. 8 liters of fury!?
You can solve that, one piece / section at a time! Now that I have a parts car with a good windshield I decided to pull my windshield so I could repair the windshield channel. Got some work to do now. It’s worse than I thought but I have fixed worse.

Yeah. Luckily the window channel in the parts car looks to be in good shape. Now I just have to get that windshield out without breaking it.You can solve that, one piece / section at a time!
I have the cutter tool with a knife and t-handle.That is a difficult task. What method do you use to get the windshield out?
