NOT MINE 1969 Dodge Polara convert - Carrolton, GA ($1,000)

Never got a reply from the seller. The slanted hood above the instrument binnacle suggests this would be a pre-January 1970 car, so the tag must have been DL27G0D1xxxxx

I told him gut it as I didn't need anything but the face plate and he said he gave up on them many years ago.

    Radio Needs Rebuilt

Who is this S&M? Two places I checked are out of business and tayman refuses anything with a tape deck.

That's too bad. I think they were repairing them a while ago, but I would imagine that they are hard to repair and probably not profitable.

NOT MINE 1966 Chrysler V* (Oahu)

Interesting pics... Looks like he's advertising his photography service, so you'd think there would be more pictures of the car and less of the girl if they really want to sell it. It looks nice in the pics and it is like the Chrysler in Goodfellas. The right mirror looks strange in that...

They refuse any radio that has a tape player in it.

NOT MINE 1969 DODGE MONACO 500 for sale $18,500 Thorsby Alberta

This does not look like a Monaco 500 -- the fender tag is a must in this case.

For Sale 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe for sale

The car was repainted at one point, but not very well. Much of the paint was flying off during a power-wash. In addition, the original color was not my favorite anyway, being a light green metallic. So, I chose to paint it a different, but still correct color for the year.

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

I have not seen any others on the Big Island. Quite a few E and B bodies. I did see a 66 Chrysler vert for sale in Oahu a few weeks ago. I will put it on the "For Sale Ads from Other Sites" page.

Advice on price please 72 custom suburban

Yeah without more information that's a tough hit. I was thinking 12-15 because of the rear air and no rust.

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

It was actually painted black (dunno why) but not under the rear bumper guards -- where the original GY9 was left in almost perfect condition (ignore the scratches in the photo below). Later on, the black was wiped off the valance with lacquer thinner -- revealing more of the original paint, as...

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

Was Medina's valance never painted burgundy? Oh, and is the stripe gone yet? :poke: Asking for a friend. I love that car.

    Name that girl

Maybe she will feel better knowing the the story is loosely based off the world in the comic book The Preacher. But I doubt it.

How Much Octane Is Enough For Good Engine Performance?

How much Octane do you really need to achieve good engine performance with compression ratio of 9.5:1? After about 8 years I finally invested the time and $ to bring my very mild mid 70's 440 to a better compression by using 413 closed chamber engine heads, thin gaskets and larger exhaust...

For Sale 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe for sale

Out of curiosity, why didn't you repaint it in the original colour? It looks like it was attractive, too; it's a gorgeous car either way.

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

@ayilar, is that PPG paint? I found that PPG was the only real match to EB7, I 'm wondering if it is the same with the other colors.

    Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

The next photo shows how close the match is. In front is the new paint, in the back is Medina's original paint. Note how much the new color travels -- it's like getting a gold and a green car for the price of one. To quote the expert who picked the paint for me: "The new paint looks authentic...

Here's a hint of what's going on with Medina right now. Top photo outside, bottom photo outside. White and gold piece is fresh paint, behind is from Medina's original GY9. We have a match!
