The rear wheel studs are in the AXLE flange, not in the drums.

If this is an 8.75 rear end, I would suggest pulling the axle and pressing out the old studs. If you do not want to go to that much trouble, you can drive out the old studs with a brass drift, that drift will keep you from damaging the axle flange. Several manufacturers make a tool to...

Couldn't find anything in the FSM about removing wheel studs from drums...could find the procedure about disc brakes though. Is it possible to remove just the wheel studs from the rear left drum and press/hammer in new ones? I do not care for left-hand threads and want to replace them with...
