Looking to update wiring in 68 Imperial.

I’ve used the painless kit, no it isn’t painless lol. It’s very time consuming, like all wiring projects, but it’s quality stuff and the instructions are very helpful for wiring systems together from scratch like starting and ignition. Good kit when fixing a car with a wiring system that’s in...

    3.6 Pentastar V6 vs. 2.4 4 Cylinder

Well up until recently we have just brought it into the dealer at the recommended intervals, 6000 miles I think. Now I’ll be taking over the oil changes as it’s out of the warranty or whatever. I have to do a change in ~1000 miles, have to consider what oil I want to go with.

    3.6 Pentastar V6 vs. 2.4 4 Cylinder

We drive the absolute balls off the 3.6 charger, it’s given us no trouble and I’m looking forward to seeing how it holds up.

    3.6 Pentastar V6 vs. 2.4 4 Cylinder

We’ve done around 50k miles in a 3.6 charger and it’s taken us all across the west reliably. I really enjoy the engine note and character, obviously it ain’t ludicrously fast or loud, it’s just a pleasant driver. I can’t really speak on long term dependability unfortunately.

I’m about to rewire the Monaco and am going blindly start the dash removal in like an hour- unless you guys have any tips or bits of knowledge you’d like to share. This seems like it’ll be not too difficult, just time consuming. Any help is much appreciated

    Suspension ideas

If you want to have some camber, its pretty easy to adjust on these things just slide the UCA. That combined with altering the tension on the torsion bars is all you can easily do for the front. In the rear I think you need custom leaf springs made to adjust that ride height
