You guys are total Sallies!
Uh, no it's not.And Pertronix IS an HEI system. Hall Effect Ignition.
Everyone in the actual know knows the moon landing was faked by the lizard Zionists, and that everyone in NASA is in on it. The earth is actually flat, and the dinosaurs disappeared because the asteroid tilted the earth upon impact, shooting them into space. But, you worked on the ISS, so you must know more than anyone.
'Cause those are my options...power steering or crashing into a tree. Nice logic. You sound like my brother in law's retarded kids.. Ya know, when I was working on the ISS at Redstone Arsenal...I thought a lot of that equipment was extraneous too.

...I bet you like coitus with little or no effort as well. !
but the point made above is valid.
65-68 Plymouth Fury, 65-68 Dodge Polara/Monaco and 65-68 Chrysler Newport - all offered as standard equipment a manual steering box and associated hardware.
Of all three lines, the Fury is the most likely to have manual steering - I've seen a lot with it.
Firm Feel, Steer and Gear and a few others offer good quality remanufactured steering boxes, but keep in mind you get what you pay for.
Respectfully, why would you want to go to a manual setup? The power steering in C bodies is somewhat of a necessity at lower speeds, especially if you get an upgraded box. I'm interested in your reasoning around the swap.
Same for manual to power brakes - while some love manual brakes, typically most enjoy power assist on our big cars. Upgrading to power discs is easy and very effective improvements are gained using all factory parts.
eBay has lots to offer here:
Manual Steering box search:
C body manual steering box | eBay
Manual steering C body pitman arm
NOS MOPAR 1965-6 C BODY MANUAL STEERING PITMAN ARM | eBay
C body Idler arm (I do not know if this is compatible for manual steering applications)
NOS MOPAR 1965-73 C BODY STEERING LINKAGE IDLER ARM | eBay
I hope I can ask a quick question here. I have a 1966 300 with a floor shifter that is original but someone put a steering column in with a column shifter.. of course non functional. I have found a steering column from a 1966 sport Fury. Any idea if it will fit in my 300? Thanks in advance!65-68 Plymouth Fury, 65-68 Dodge Polara/Monaco and 65-68 Chrysler Newport - all offered as standard equipment a manual steering box and associated hardware.

Ok great to know! Appreciate the help!It will not - the 300 column has a collar and jacket which mate with your 300 dash in a specific way, and the one from the SF will not.
Here are the pictures.I know it is an old thread, but it might help someone un the future. I have a 66 Polara big block 383 with tunnel ram 2x500 carters AFBs, 3.91 gears and reverse manual 727, manual steering and brakes. I installed a manual steering from a duster on my car source from a local junkyard that has many 60s and 70s cars and moved the brake rod closer to the pivot point and the master cylinder up to match it. Yesterday, I visited the place again to see the beautiful fall clolours , and saw a 65 polara. Opened the hood and there was a manual steering box with the exact same adaptor that I had to fabricate to use the a body box in my car. They look identical. The a body pitman arm pin/stud is smaller, so I had to fabricate a sleeve out of sheet metal cut and bent to a conical shape. I will go back there this week to buy the actual c body box and replace just because the length of the pitman arm will make steering a bit faster. The reason I removed all the power stuff, is that like Norman, I couldn't car less for keeping the car all original to keep value for the next guy to have it after I am gone. I want to make that C body faster and have some fun at the track. Here are some pictures ofbmy set up. I made my adapter from cutting a piece of the duster steering column shaft.
