i have a easy question for you. i think this has been done a lot of times but i didn't find an example:

Does someone change the rear headlights of a Monaco in a Polara? Does ths match?

Trying to make sure I understand your question correctly...

The rear TAIL LIGHTS in a 1966 Polara or Monaco are interchangeable, but with some caveats...

As far as I know, the Monaco outer tail lights will bolt into a Polara, and vice versa.

The caveat is: the INNER tail lights for a Monaco may NOT bolt into a Polara trunk lid. The trunk lid (deck lid) has a different part number between Dodge Low line (Polara and), and Dodge High line (Polara 500 and Monaco) and Dodge Premium (Monaco 500).

This may be due to the various lettering differences between them, but I believe somebody told me once that there is a slight difference in the deck lid with the Polara's filler panels and the structure behind them, and the same area on a Monaco where there needs to be room for the full tail light buckets. I could be wrong.

1966 Polara deck lid does NOT have the recessed area that will take 1966 Monaco tail lights.
