You did not miss anything. Those pictures were not there in the original eBay ad. I contacted the seller (as I like the car) and asked him for these additional pictures. He posted exactly what I had requested pretty much right away, which I take as a very good signal.
On my side, the question is not Monaco
vs. Polara but whether I want to hold off for a 383-4 (or a 440) and for buckets with buddy seat.
One way to solve the engine riddle is answering the question of whether the 383-4 is more temperamental than the 383-2? I understand the latter has been called a "dog" vs. the former, but what I have in mind is ease with restarting the engine when hot, etc.
