Not yet but she's getting there.......

In the final night of the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Robin Williams talked about God giving us two heads and enough blood to run one. Which one are you using at the moment?

The car has the buildsheet, 2 actually. With that it has all the info on it to make a new tag. No big deal. As long as you get correctly dated parts the restored will be a success. This car is 1 of 12. Less then half left. Or unfound yet. The opening bid was 9,999 but if you read the ad, it said make an offer. Where else can you get any 6 pack car for less then 10 grand??? Nowhere. Cut the guy some slack. Its a fair price. As all of you know, a solid rust free parts car can be bought for peanuts. So the big money stuff would just be the 6 pack set up......that's not the end of the world either. Everybody bashes other peoples stuff ( and people) on here..... Its sad. If its to much for you, move on. Don't hate. Continue driving your late 70's barges and be happy. The drama is on this site way before and after these poor 6 pack cars were advertised.

Agreed + 1000

It's back! Not sure why the auction was pulled, but it's back on line.

I'm sure he ruffled your guys feathers. By rights you can be pissed and say what you want to say about him. However the cars are what they are, and should be left out of the hate. Who cares what he says about your stuff.... I disregard all your commentary that's ridiculous.

Why are you here?

Did you read what I wrote? I disregard all commentary that is ridiculous..... Meaning, say what you want and it doesn't bother me. I'm here just like you are here....for the love of C bodys.

No I didnt read it...:BangHead: .... as I read through these pages you put C body guys down with condescension, with only 59 posts it is enough to take notice....Hence my question:shruggy:

The number of posts don't mean anything. I wasn't being condescending to all...just the ones who deserve it. If I offended you, sorry. It just sucks seeing the same 3 or 4 people constantly putting peoples posts down and saying their stuff isn't worth what they are asking. It happens all the time on here..... I have been on here for years without posting. Dry dock and Moparts as well. I vend at the Nats and Carlisle since 2000. Aside from some condescending defensive remarks from me, I also have a lot of useful advise and knowledge. On all A, B, E, C bodies.

You may have all the knowledge in the world, if you're an *** about it, none of its worth a damn.

I guess chargerjohn can't agree a little bit with a person who is extremely disliked on the site. Shame on him! I think the cars are overpriced, but people put crazy prices on cars all the time. Doesn't mean they sell for that. I always tell people an insane amount when they ask if my car is for sale, that way I know it's going no where. It sure does get attention though, doesn't it? I've seen like 3 threads ripping Dan about theprice of his cars. I'm not saying he's a stand up guy or a horrible scumbag. I know I'll never get a SPGT so it doesn't matter to me what the price is. The cars gotta be significant somehow or no one would be bitching about it. Non numbers matching drivetrains don't seem to keep B or E bodies any cheaper. If he's peddling a car and saying it's something it's not, then that's bull. Enough rambling, back to the squabbling.

people are different, have different thoughts and priorites.
And values for cars.

I am with "chargerjohn", "billyfury" and "Fury pursuit", I think this Y2 v-code SFGT is worth the money. If it would be blue I would have bought it already.

Some rare cars have a higher value to some of us even though if they are in bad shape.
But they are what they are and some care about numbers, fender tags and originality more than others.

Some guys don't worry to install an aluminium radiator while guys like my rather pay three times as much to have the original radiator redone.

On the other end there are guys like Ross in example who like to modify their cars heavily. Even though this isn't my taste I won't say anything bad about it, his cars, his money, he can do what he wants and if he enjoys it: fine.

Sometimes i feel a couple of guys are just here to complain about everyone and everything.

The amount of posts someone has says nothing about their knowledge. Everyone has the same rights no matter if he has 20k posts or 20.

Dan Corley: I know what Dave means about his pricing of other people cars on moparts. But one thing is for sure: Dan is a real Mopar guy, he knows his Mopar numbers and he has been helpful to me and others. I bought a bunch of 1970 Fury parts of him, everything was priced reasonably, condition was exactly as described. I had a lot of contact with him and can't say any bad word about him. He is an option and numbers guy like I am.

He sold one of his TX9 V-code Fury and I am sure this one will sell, too.

I sure would be happy if guys like chargerjohn, billyfury, fury pursuit would be more active here and share their knowledge.

Looking at chargerJohns Imperial 2dr I can just say some are really cheap. 2500$ for a solid Imperial coupe with a running matching engine? He could nearly get the money by selling the drivetrain and scraping the body (which would be a shame).
I hope the car survives. Maybe some of our scandinavian members have a use for it? I have just bought two c-body projects lately.
