1971 Plymouth Sport Fury GT Brogham & U code Super Comando

I'm always confused....But didn't those wheels come on Early 90s Chevy trucks? something like that.
 
I could comment further and throw some more variations into the mix but I doubt I could do a better job than Stan. ;)
 
The whole point I posted the vbrochure picture was to show that the 70 and 71 road wheel was available together, as you can see in the picture. As for the center cap being a one year only cap in 70, this is simply not true and can be seen on a number of years and models of cars including as an option on the 74 road runner.

Well as far as I know the `70 center cap looks liked this.

These are much more common and often used as a quick replacement for our elusive road wheel centers
 
So, I'm a little confused here. You bought your car and it had '70-'78 Road Rally Wheels on it. They are not correct for your 1971 Sport Fury GT. So why are you using them?

It's almost 99.9% that your 71 GT did not come from the factory with 70 Road Wheels, as it wasn't part of the 71 GT package.

build date on the GT is dec /70......
those 8 in rims were not on the gt...l bought those for my 70 fury
the gt came with the roadwheels on it...thats what will be going back on it...
