1972 Dodge Monaco wagon, my 1st C body Mopar!

Another normally sane man succumbs to RPCS..... Resto Parts Car Syndrome.

Chose the best one and use the worse one for parts. Put the best parts on the keeper and sell the parts car as a driver. Only known cure...

Ok on Friday I picked up a different parts car...a complete junkyard 72 Monaco sedan. Am already scavenging parts from it. Today's mission is to replace the damaged grill/bumper. So far I've gotten the busted one removed, will ad more pictures after it's replaced.

Had to wait till my sons were able to swing by and help hold it in place. It still needs final tweaking and some polish, but it's in!

I always like the feeling when you upgrade parts on a car. One little thing to make it better, never gets old!

I'm totally on board with what you're saying, it's such a rewarding feeling to correct deficiencies!
Need a parts car for the parts car...ask @cantflip he has the same problem..
That's exactly what this sedan is. I've already transplanted the front door panels, DS mirror, and grill/bumper assembly onto the white wagon. The blue wagon will be getting the windshield, seats, dash and pad. I'm 99% sure it will receive the 360/727 also, but a lack of spark kept me from testing the drivetrain out last weekend.

Check out what was found when the white wagons original door panel was removed

My wife enjoyed taking this picture after I text her for help getting out of this position...speedo cable is kinda hard to reach, didn't have much to grab onto and pull myself out
