Well. Great minds think alike!

So has it helped to ID noise source? (Duct tape)

You might try Steele Rubber Products also.

Steele Rubber does not have anything for our cars.
Duct tape had a huge difference in noise. I drove about 70mph today and it was pretty quiet.

Have you asked any companies if they would consider making?

I havent ask, but I believe that would not be cheap.
Today I took rest of drivers side woodgrain off. It took about 3 hours to clean rear door and quarter panel.

That must be a good feeling. A relief, even. Looks good. What worked best? Did you use a 3M wheel?

There are specialty rubber moulding companies in Europe, they may be able to do something...probably custom, probably not cheap. Trelleborg makes rubber products in Sweden. Linosczel (spelling?) in Poland might also. I know, I am grasping at straws. Still, if you contact them, they might “know someone who knows someone”.

I used this. I don't know the name, it is just cleaning machine with sticker removing wheel. One wheel used, another one ordered. Passenger side next week.

Sisu diesel, that would be a lot power :D My 65 Valiant had a Nissan 2,8 diesel before I got it, which was common swap to many cars in 90's. I think all Nissans rusted away, but engines were still reliable. In 70's Perkins diesel was commonly used, but it had no power. Nowadays Mercedes diesels are used, they make nice power when hotrodded :) I think Mercedes 420cdi V8 would be a nice engine to car like this :) But for now, 440 stays in. IF I change the Magnum, it goes with overdrive transmission and shorter gears. I haven't had luck to find transmisson yet, these are rare here. And for diesel swap. Finnish taxes goes by total weight. TC = very heavy = very expensive taxes. Diesel cars has separete "diesel tax" which goes by weight too = lots of more taxes.
Did you go further in your thoughts about changing the engine? Just curious.

Not at this moment. I still have 318 magnum and A500, but I am going to use that transmission for my 69 Sport Satellite that I am working now. 440 stays in for now.
Passenger side woodgrain is almost gone. I have used 2 sticker removing wheel now, had to order one more.

I was at auto parts place yesterday, $50US for a 3M remover wheel. Seems expensive but if a person works at a shop...’time is money’...

Thinking on your vent window moulding. Is it a simple rubber triangle? Could you have someone (a ‘friend’ with such resources) make a 3D printed “moulding”, then take inject some aerosol rubber spray (Flex Seal in US) into the 3D moulding to make a hand made repro part? I know it is kind of fantasy idea but maybe something improvised like this is possible.

Recognize you would be making moulding from baseline existing/imperfect part. Theoretically you could ‘cut away’ into the moulding in areas where you want more material to flow in and fill unwanted voids.

These have been about $25 each. Not cheap either, but nothing else worked...

I don't think I am ready for that amount of work with vent window gaskets. I have access to small 3d printer, but who would make programming. Sport Satellite rocker moulding clips are not available, so I took one to local school for 3d scanning. I took one side molding clip from T&C too, that's why passenger rear door has no molding atm. Not that expensive work for small part like this (I hope), but when custom work is involved, that is different story...

I understand. Sometimes I think first of complicated solution, then break it down to easier component solution later.

I need upper drip rail trim clips, they are specialty and Mr. G’s in Texas does not have them. Also need new rubber for step bumpers, and new rear upper seal for tail gate glass. For 1973 Monaco.

Do you have small plastic clips (inserts) for the side silver rub strip trim? I am not finding them, online. I don’t know if they are the same, between TnC and Monaco, for 73.

I am afraid to remove trims and there is the exact reason. Do you have part number for clips?
I contacted Mr. G’s. They said FA316 on page 32 of their guide should be very close. The thing I like about Mr. G’s is, you print out their catalog and it gives a 1:1 scale image of their parts. I am going to check what I have versus that. It’s not an exact match. “Close enough” may be good enough.
