I bet I could easily push a pencil through the bottom rear quarter. There is a big issue from what I'm seeing in this picture. The other side is probably as bad or worse.
I am about 100 years late to this thread ...
she's in 'Wooster" huh? If its still around when i am in Boston next month i'll try to take a look at it.
I honestly did not make it through nearly 600 posts here ... so i honestly dont know what we finally made of this car?
my hunch is it is what it purports itself to be .. sorta. lotsa contradictions alongside lotsa confirmations
Price now isn't back-breakin though. almost feels like a bargain at $9-$10k-ish
I'll try to look at it in any event .. but if someone has laid eyes on it/put butt to seat recently, and posted it here, can you point me to your report?
As far as price is concerned... take whatever you paid for Kip's (nobody needs to know), then start to deduct the flaws... I bet you get to $2500 pretty quick... mileage claim, regardless of truth, is for azzoles who think they are making an "investment".I am about 100 years late to this thread ...

It was the Yugo hatchback....This bullshit has been going on for so long that I can't even remember which car we're talking about.
No. No need to remind me, thank you.
did that with my '78 st regis. that was a hot car. swapped 440 with my offy tunnel comin' through the hood behind those waterfall grills. med. gray metallic. never took pictures though, damn it. really love these cars, but too late in life to own another one.Now I would love to see the ones sans vinyl.
There is no picture of the door VIN sticker online. You might consider shooting Brian Kressley an e-mail at rhkressleys@ptd.net and ask. He'll be excited to receive a message from Italy!Judging by the high VIN it could have an interesting SPD and MDH. But the dealer's site doesn't load in my part of the world. If somebody gets hold of these data, I would be happy to know.
The seller now claims he's in ill (mental) health
