1978 NYB Road Trip

I have the power antenna installed. No pictures that would be of interest.

Here's a picture of the mirror that I got from the El Paso NYB.

Still have the new stereo to put in and put the dash back together.

Holy smokes!!! Great job Bob, well worth the trip........... sorry about the glass but the seats make up for it

Put in in a safe place between two hard covers. Scan it when you get home and keep that birth certificate locked away

I have it flat and pressed in my FSM until I get back to Maryland. I can't wait to decode it....it looks like it has a lot of options.

Seats look fantastic Bob, very happy for you! Bummer about the glass though, what's wrong with your existing one?

BIG improvement...... The interior is standing tall now. Congradulations on the build sheet find. I keep mine in a acid free plastic page protector. Daves suggustion to scan is a good one.

Thanks, the seats are a 1000% percent improvement!!!

The windshield has about 10 vertical scrapes. scuffs, something....that are about 3/16" wide and about a foot long mostly on the driver's side. They are really distracting when driving at night. I don't know what caused it. It almost looks like someone was sliding down the glass with a sled or maybe caused by a plastic snow shovel. The glass guy yesterday said it looks like scuff marks that can be buffed with window glaze and a small (2") high speed buffer. Any suggestions anyone?

That's right, sorry I forgot about the marks on your windshield, that's a real bummer.
you'll find another one.

Two windshields. Not one. TWO!!!

Once had a NOS windshield in the carpeted trunk compartment of our station wagon, just one tiny overlooked piece of gravel in a freshly hoovered load area ruined it on the drivers side while dragging it out.
