Unfortunately I've never found a convenient place nearby to stay that I/we cared for, so we usually end up with a bit of a drive.Where do most of you stay for the Farmington Show?

It was after 10 PM and I wasn't really thinking about anything but getting the Polara back home.Whoa. WTF? My city of residence and you didn't send a PM? On a Saturday? I was off, and could have drooled all over it then? You're killing me!. That's a mile or so from my house.
I don't blame you, I just had to heckle you. I wouldn't have given me a second thought either. It was after 10 PM and I wasn't really thinking about anything but getting the Polara back home.
Also in my defense... Didn't know you were in Blue Earth until I looked last night.I don't blame you, I just had to heckle you. I wouldn't have given me a second thought either.
I know you were pretty focused during that point in time, you were a man on a mission, and that mission was successful! Hope you make it up here for the show! Also in my defense... Didn't know you were in Blue Earth until I looked last night.
Damn, I gotta get busy - still haven't got the old girl running well since last summer's malfunction.
Plan on having fun! Some good shoes help, you'll be walking a lot. I think the show field went back to it's previous format, A, B ,E body cars on the west side of the property, display buildings (race cars, past winners) to the east, swap meet next, then the C body car, trucks, vans and other cars.I'm planning on being there with my '75 Imperial. This will be my first time attending Mopars in the Park. Anything a first timer should know about going? Worth going more than just 1 day?
Thanks. Looking forward to the show. I'll be sure to bring the cooler along!Plan on having fun! Some good shoes help, you'll be walking a lot. They changed it up.last year a bit, they got rid of th fun field, cars/trucks entered but not judged. Now every car costs the same to register and all can win. They had the Hellcat rides last year, so they moved all the cars over to the fun field. No Hellkitty rides this year, so I'm assuming they brought the cars back the way they were last year.
I'm having a FCBO meet and greet on Saturday, I'll bring some beers for the beer exchange (I bring Minnesots beer for out of staters, and they bring beers we can't get here). It's still in it's infancy, but worked well with the FABO bunch, we only had 4-5 actually attend in the C body bunch. No worries, I still enjoyed myself.
As for more than one day, I've never actually gone to more than one day. I meant to last year, but the sun wore me out and I didn't make it back Sunday. I would have home, there was a '67 Monaco that showed up late in the day I wanted to drool all over. They joined here recently, and I hope they make the show again, that was a very nice car.
It's been a good show with lots to see and do, a great swap meet, and they always have some cool old race cars on display. You'll have a great time!
I'm expecting Big Red to run out of gas on the way there.Less than a week away, finally put a few minutes toward the beast and I think she'll be good to go, just need to change oil and check a few things out, haven't driven it since I got the radiator back in following last year's fiasco. Do hope this year goes better.
You're in my hood...paddle fast if you hear any banjos.I am staying at Mystic Lake Casino. I park out in the huge lot away from other cars. Most of the hotels you will be very close to other cars. I've been door dinged before at them.
