3rd owner Canadian car...bought it as my parts car in '98, was originally building a '66 VIP...318 poly car in medium turqioise, now it's Curious Yellow. All original sheetmetal other than the passenger door, 2nd owner tried to drive a '68 galaxie thru it...
It's a street car so it's not perfect anywhere. Finally decided to freshen the top end two winters ago, and it promptly ate the new MP590 solid in about 50 miles inspite of the break in oil and every additive i could toss in. Tore the top end off again and it sat all of last year.
Car has gone 11.69 @ 115+ 1.69 60'. Combo then was a '70 440, 11:1, MP 557 solid, stock Edelbrock RPM heads, Victor intake, E85 850 Holley, 9.5" PTC converter, 4.10's detroit locker, Caltracs with split mono's, manual steering, '73 front disc brake conversion, frames been tied, radio delete, car goes 3650 on minimal fuel...
