67 Fury 440 Engine Problems

My stepdad says the fuel pump pushrod is also new by the way, and that it would cause problems on the high end and not at idle.

Did he put fuel stabilizer in the gas tank?

Unfortunately no he did not Bill, I just DON’T get how your engine ran so good and ours doesn’t. It runs good, then it doesn’t, then it runs good, then it doesn’t.

He needs to drain the tank as much as he can and put fresh gas in it. I have found that today’s gas starts to go bad in 60 to 90 days.
