'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

You had frost and Ice two weeks ago.........Ice dripping of the oranges, half of Florida saw below freezing temps

The frost didn't make it down here to Fumbuck County.
I wouldn't move 5 miles closer north. I'm fine right here....

1"-2" of snow overnight. I'm right on the southern edge........hope it drifts North just a tad.

Just make sure you do the mechanicals last, especially brakes. A friend of mine did a resto in the same environment in snail speed (he still is not finished) and the new brake cylinders are already stuck again, even the engine was slightly stuck. Lots of moisture trapped in there. Getting even worse when you use a propane gas heater.

Supposed to get up to a foot of snow starting tonight. The weather types on the radio are going batshit crazy like the world is coming to an end. If you don't hear from me after tomorrow, send a shovel. :)

Two and three winters ago we had major storms. Each year we had over 70 inches of snow total, thats a bunch for Jersey. I shoveled every inch of that snow off my driveway and sidewalks. Before last winter I had enough and bought a beautiful used Craftsman 12 hp Trac-Drive snow blower. Its fifteen years old, looks and runs like new.
Havent had a drop of snow since.........

I have my engine wrapped up in blankets right now, brakes are last on my list. Heater, that might be a good idea.
