'69 Fury III Convertible Build Thread- Project IVY

Getting ready for the weekend, Picked up some weld thru primer and some more Copper wire for my Mig, gotta clean up the rear frame rails and finish the interior floors Saturday, Sunday I have to head to the otherside of Ontario and Pickup my new (-used) 340 J code heads.

Planning out my Engine project next, just figured out my order from Summit:
Taylor Street Thunder plug wire set
Fram Air filter
Fram PCV
Fram Clear fuel filter
Stant 180 Degree thermostat
Summit True Roller Timing chain
Autolite Copper plugs
Fel-pro full gasket set
Accel Dizzy cap & rotor
Accel Points and Condensor

Also ordered a quart of Chrysler Engine blue from Eastwood (among other things)

So thats a fair bit of my paycheck already spent.

Ahhh sweet memories.....

I picked up some argent silver from Eastwood about 2wks ago....they sent it almost the next day too. Nice.

And yes it's loud without exhaust, and can you guess which side I have finished in the interior floors (I have the cancer cut out and the new pans ready to go in, ran out of time today.)

Stan, I had to get something out of my truck, took a few pictures and got some numbers. All 5 have 2.02 Intake Valves and 1.60 Exhaust Valves.

I hot tanked them, the rust is surface, if you wipe it with a damp rag it comes right off.

Well my grandparents bought a house with a heated 2 car garage, I was told when I get the plymouth together it can spend it's winters there, so thats good. Still working on my 340 heads.

Dry cold garage is actually even better as cold air stores less humidity AFAIK, but the difference is not too significant if the place is dry.
