You will need to have a quality timing light to check and adjust the timing. Plus a few wrenches to loosen the hold-down bolt for the distributor. Engine has to be running for these things, but no real need to remove the air cleaner, unless it might make things easier to get to for the distributor hold-down bolt.

If you have not already done so, go to www.mymopar.com and download (free) a service manual for your car. For the mechanical items, no difference between Plymouth or Dodge vehicles if a Plymouth manual is not listed for your model year. The read it as it will tell about how to check the timing and such, with pictures.

The easiest Classic car moter oil for you to buy would be the Lucas hotrod and muscle car oil and now the Castrol GTX Classic. Both have the correct additives and zinc (ZDDP) for your engine, don't add oil additives, use the correct oil.
