'71 300 2-Door Carpet Replacement Questions

Are all the carpet replacement kits basically the same, or are there differences? Is the stock carpet type looped pile?
Is it worth it to add sound deading or underlayment? If so, what have people found to work the best?

I have a '71 300 factory equipped with black carpet.

It is all the same.

Auto Custom Carpets or ACC is the only major manufacturer making molded auto carpet. So, shop for price and get samples.

My vendor of choice is Auto Carpet for Car, Truck, Van - Stock Interiors as the price seems to be competitive with good service. YMMV.
