Yes, and cars are supposed to be "Factory Correct" to pass California Smog Laws, especially in LA Country which is a Snog Check II area.

Can you get away with just making it look correct Scott? If so I have a Lean Burn computer and wiring harness that probably doesn't function but looks good.

Hell..... California restricted Formal sales when they were brand damn new! No Formal's could be sold in California with a 400 because the 400 didn't have a smog pump from the factory. You could buy a Formal with a 360 or a 440 with a smog pump and the mandatory N95 emission package only.
You wouldn't be saying that if your cars had Lean Burn in 1970-71. LOL!
