No emission tests or inspections in Maryland if you have historic tags.

Not that I'm moving anytime soon....

California is definitely out of the question.

Arizona checks 67 and up. :realcrazy:

Wow... they just never loosened up then... sorry, moved to Florida in 95... right after the OBD2 stuff hit the EPA standards went from population density to air quality and FL cancelled the little emissions programs they had (2 counties I think)...

I am always interested in what the different states do with this stuff... as a tech in a shop, it doesn't matter... you're liable for any changes you make... but not the ones you don't touch. Your cats can be missing, but I can still rebuild the carb... stuff like that. The performance shops have to make it like they never knew the car would be street driven... I have heard of them trailering the car back and forth from the customers house for just that reason.

Nice nice car....... shipping companies seem to be hit or miss. I used DAS three times once I was disappointed with the response time and stupid question as it took much longer than expected.

Unless you deal directly with a company that specializes in high-end car transport, 90% of the rest of the transport out there are brokered. Even if the broker says, "these guys are good, I've dealt with them before", they are lying as bad as a used car salesman. But I don't know anybody that can afford Passport, Exotic, and the like.

I've said this before and I know people don't agree but brokers suck end of story. They are skimmers/flippers/the worst of used car salesman however you want to put it. Deal with a company that has trucks they know the real world. A phone, computer and a line of B.S. does not make a transportation person.

Another point to ponder on brokers. Truck drivers don't like brokers, shippers that care about their freight don't like brokers, other brokers don't like brokers (load has already been skimmed and is illegal to double broker a load), I would guess that their mothers don't care for them much either but I have no proof on that one. Point is stay away from brokers.

It was a truck with the Pilot logo painted on it. The invoice had a Pilot letterhead.

The experiences I have had shipping cars has always been, you get what you pay for.
