A opinion on new car purchase

So you wax it without washing it?
I always wash it first with a mild soap and a "Fireman's Brush", so named because it's the only brush fiire fighters will use on their gorgeous equipment.

If the atmosphere in Florida is so car friendly and doesnt need washing or waxing why do you?

I exude precious bodily fluids whereas my New Yorker doesn't leak a drop.

One more thing.
Re: my F-150.
You know the minute I start showing respect for that thing, she'll turn on me...

I'm confused.
Basically I'm overprotective of the New Yorker and I ignore/neglect the F-150.

o.k...... you have heard me say the same thing about my truck. I have had it for five years, washed it a dozen times, never waxed... its white , I dont care about it, the perfect work truck and she starts whenever I need her and shes never let me down. You however, I thought were anal about EVERYTHING

I've had my truck for 6 years. I run it through car washes occasionally...more so during the winter. I power wash the exterior and engine bay at least once a month. My truck bed has the factory spray-in bed liner and I had the undercarriage and doors Ziebarted on day one and get a Ziebart tuneup once a year. I have never waxed my truck. Pretty much still looks like a new truck. No rust anywhere that I can see.

I hadnt waxed the Challenger in six months, the water was just laying on the paint and wasnt beading off.I was ashamed, so last weekend she got 8 hours of my attention and she got another coat of wax. She gets waxed a minimum twice a year

OK Matt....... I'll sell ya a truck...... No charge for the rust....!!!!

OHHhhh..... A fellow from the Detroit area named Reg Kelly came by the house to pick up a fender he had bought from me on ebay..... Said he knows you....
He and his wife were on their way to the Gulf coast cruise. Trailering a nice Plum Crazy Cuda convertible.

that doesn't ring a bell but I'm terrible with names. I know of a few plum crazy Cuda verts though.

Are you sure that wasn't a Challenger convertible, Will?

Yep, he's a club member and I knew about his RR project. I think this is his last one and he's building it as a keeper. He did a beautiful '68 Hemi Charger R/T last(which would have been my keeper), his Challenger is nice and I look forward to seeing his RR vert.

He mentioned that he had restored and then sold a 68 R/T Charger.... He didn't mention it was a Hemi. Went to a serious collector in PA.
Heres my brothers 68 Hemi charger, restored by us from a solid California car.

Thats gorgeous! His was black with a red but stripe, I'll see if I can find a photo. I know he won some awards with it before he sold it.
