I personally like the 1970 (only year) twin power buldges with the 440 motor designation emblem on each side of the hood. It is a large hood and most look like the scoops have been borrowed from another car or purchased from JCWhitney. And another point....if the hood scoop is not functional than why is it there??

Are you taking about the Fury GT hood?

To the best of my knowledge: all '70 Furys have the power buldge hood if the original motor is larger than a 318. The same hood was on the Sport Gury GT as pictured above.

I thought they all had it, regardless of engine size, even on a six or 318

No, I don't beleive so......have you ever seen a Fury with the power buldge hood and a "318" on each side of power buldge, I have not, only 360, 383 and 440. In '71 the buldge hood was gone but the same motor emblem script was near the front fender side marker lense.

I cant argue with certainty but I have to say yes, they did. I know the deal on the 71's... in both years they didnt badge the smaller than 360 engines.

I just looked on line at the '70 Fury brochure and I could not find a reference to the hood connecting it to a motor size. Also 360 was not available until 1971. The hood engine emblem would be 383 or 440 only for 1970.
