AirGrabber hood on a Fury???

Yeah I am contemplating on grafting this setup onto my sport fury or the Hood bulges with the directional lights from the 1970 Fury. I have a set of each. If I go this route I am thinking of mounting them backwards in the opposite direction with the bulge facing toward the front of the car.

I'm thinking of grafting one of these Chevy truck hood scoops on my '73 Fury (just the narrower center section that houses the scoop, not the entire hood). Still too new to find in the local pull-a-parts, but I have time. I think this would be an awesome looking scoop on the old gal. I would set it back closer to the windshield.

Car will need a rear spoiler to set it off and some side graphics I have in mind.

Not sure what year Fury you are working on but if you would like to use a 71 Fury hood to graft the scoops on let me know as I have a few 71 Fury hoods that I don't need and we are in neighboring states.

1969 Sport fury vert....... I have the scoops from the 70 fury with the directional lights as well as the challenger scoops. I am looking for another 1969 fury hood as well just in case I mess one up. I am located in Massachusetts on the south shore area.

Sorry, I don't have a '69 Fury hood.

I'd need some good photo chop pic to get me on board with this one.

I can't picture that Chevy truck scoop doing the body lines justice, but hey, it will be a one of a kind.

A power bulge will be attractive. No scoops.

That is my vision and intention of the Challenger hood with the scoops, The bulges on it will face forward, I will fit in the hood directional lights into where the scoops of the challenger hood were and the long ribbed edges will face toward the windshield and will be flipped. Left on the right side and right on the left side of the hood. I like these bulges only because they a quite larger and wider than the 1970 fury bulges and will add a tad more dimension to the big C-Body hood. Before I start this small project  I will post a few prototypes for all to see to get your feedback of what you all my think is good, bad or just sucks ................:popcorn::thumbsup:

I can't seem to find it right now, but @azblackhemi did a nice scoop alteration to a green 67-68 Polara? if memory serves me. It looked like it belonged. Maybe he can shed some light on it.
