So my first year of ownership and driving the Monaco came to an end today, as it went into storage with the Polaras in storage.

The exhaust leak needs to be fixed, I have at least one cylinder out, I might have a collapsed lifter on no. 8 cylinder which explains one hole not firing, wheel bearings, double check my charging system, and check the brakes, the warning light came on after I started the car, which had sat for the better part of a month. Speaking of that, I got a ticket for it sitting in the same spot on the street for more than 72 hours. I'm going to try to fight it, been there ten years and had cars sit for months and nothing til now. Worth a shot. Then I'll play games with the cops, move the car at night, back to the exact same spot! I'll get a GoPro and document it for proof! Probably not, but a guy can dream. And if a neighbor called it in, they'll have fun when I park three out in front of the house next year, I have some photo ideas in my head after realizing I could fit three of them on the street in a single bunch.
It was a decent year overall, the trip to make the CatL drive made up for the lack of time to spend on the car earlier in the year. I put at least 2,000 miles on it in a short time, so that felt good. I had a lot of enjoyment from driving this car that wasn't supposed to take center stage this year! It's almost a reliable, waiting driver, but not quite there yet. It needs a shot of stating fluid after sitting for a week or longer, and the battery draining is a small issue, I think it's the battery that's the problem. I look forward to having it ready for duty next spring, when I hope to tackle all the projects that got put on hold this year!
