Posted by Rocket Restorations on Facebook this afternoon. I’m not close enough to these cars to know if this one was already known. Surely cars like this aren’t still coming out of the woodwork and this is old news.

Have the amazing opportunity to work in a unicorn Mopar car, a V Code 440 Six Barrel 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT! Honored the customer let us work our magic on this one. Was parked in a barn in 1981 and was just pulled out last week. Stay tuned to our channel for a video tomorrow!

Im NEVER that guy but yes, they'll be coming out of barns for the next 50 years. If i was gonna do a full blown resto on a Fury Rocket is a good place to go.

Im a bit jealous of that find.

It is pretty neat gentleman....the real deal here folks.

Keep looking...I NEVER thought this would happen....follow the web page....

..I will say this for now,...pre wash and clean,...it smells like it looks..covered in 30 + years of poop...but not for long...

Very nice! Thank you.

EVERY tag and document tells us something.

Tag nerd detail.

The Belvedere plant went back and forth between screws and rivets to attach the tags.

VIN 153XXX has rivets while cars in the 154XXX range, like this one, use screws.

So in this case, screws on a Belvedere plant tag are appropriate and help us confirm an original detail.

@tallzag
14:25 You showed us the stripe under the GT, however you did not show us the comparison of the stripe and downhill drop of the strobe on the opposite fender. Could you show us the comparison. It would also be nice to know if the front of the front fenders are original paint or if the stripe was replaced.

Thanks for going over the trim tag on PH23V0D154863 .

@ 20:18 you mention that you would do a broadcast sheet breakdown later, will that include us?

Trev would know best but according to sources there were 61 to 64 of them built, but I believe only roughly 12 known
As it stands today, from memory (I have it in my registry; not with me now) think we are up to 14 known VINS, (includes one engine sans car) and 3 with matching numbers. (Charles? BillyFury? can confirm)

I've got the original 70 Sport Fury 6BBL engine, (thanks to Tom & Rocket for discovering it), if somebody has the car, and can verify the car. I will give the 6BBL engine to you. Go find it!!!
